The swirling red and black “S” on the wall of Solutions!, an audio speaker repair business was painted by the owner to draw attention to the Silver Lake repair shop. But Solution’s! stylized “S” is now better known as a memorial to Elliott Smith, who used a photo of the wall on the cover of his Figure 8 album.
